Former Cabinet Secretary and Presidential Economic Advisor Moses Kuria has come out to call out the United Democratic party for what they are planning to do to Gachagua in Mbeere North.
Taking to his social media platforms on November 11, 2025. Kuria claimed that, there is a plan to harm former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua using chama Cha KAZI.
According to Kuria, some people allied to the United Democratic party are planning to distribute uniforms belonging to chama Cha KAZI.

These people will then use the uniform to attack former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua in Mbeere North and blame it on him. He has asked the independent electoral commission to act swiftly and assure security of those who will be going to campaign there.
Dear IEBC. It has come to the attention of Chama Cha Kazi that some UDA functionaries are planning to disrupt H.E Rigathi Gachagua’s campaign tour dressed in CCK uniforms. They will also demand Ksh 10 Million which Hon Gachagua allegedly took from our candidate Hon Duncan Mbui. For record Hon Gachagua does not owe any money to Hon Mbui and any claims to that effect should be treated with the contempt they deserve. More importantly CCK had taken a zero tolerance position on electoral violence having witnessed what happened in 2007-2008. This is a position of deep principle and nothing on earth will make us depart from this position.
