Just recently, ODM party Secretary General surprised many Kenyans as he publicly condemned President William Ruto’s government. He claimed that even with the support of ODM party, Ruto will still lose the 2027 presidential race because his goose is already cocked.
While that was the case, today Kenyans were even perplexed as another senior ODM party politician made a U-turn as he publicly urged his colleagues to dump Ruto.
Through his official X account, Caleb Amisi who is a strong supporter of the ODM party claimed that he wonders how his fellow ODM party politicians are supporting Ruto yet the Head of State beyrayed Mt. Kenya Region after the region making him President. Amisi maintained that the country needs a renaissance because things are not going on the right direction.
According to Amisi, Ruto may end up using the ODM fraternity to win the 2027 general election and once that is done, he may also dump them to reunite with Mt. Kenya region.
