Kenyans have been left shocked after Nairobi County Governor Johnson Sakaja moved the most Celebrated worker Mosiria from his environmental docket.
In a circular sent to Kenyans and the Media, Sakaja moved Mosiria from the environmental docket to the public relations office in the same capacity.
This has been seen as a demotion to many Kenyans who had embraced Mosiria for working so hard in making sure there is service delivery to the people of Nairobi.
Well, according to Sakaja who has finally responded after the public turned against him for moving Mosiria. He claimed that all is about service delivery to the people of Nairobi county. He maintained that all the officers are moved to improve on efficiency in various dockets.

*Improving Service Delivery: Sakaja Reshuffles County Executive Team*
Nairobi Governor Sakaja Johnson has made changes in the county executive team to improve service delivery to city residents.
The changes, carried out in accordance with section 45(5) of the County Government Act 2012, saw a total of 10 county chief officers reassigned as od Tuesday, November 18, 2025.
In the new changes, Godfrey Akumali has been moved from Business and Hustler Opportunities to the Housing and Urban Renewal Department, while Tony Kimani, who headed Social Services sector, transitioned to lead tge Social Services and Estate Management sector.
Lydia Mathia, who was previously the County Chief Officer, Housing and Urban Renewal, will now serve in the Business and Hustler Opportunities department, while Sande Oyolo moved from Digital Economy and Startups to Medical Facilities docket.
Wilson Gakuya will now lead the Digital Economy, moved from the Smart Nairobi sector.
Geoffrey Mosiria has been moved from the Environment docket to the Citizen Engagement and Customer Service sector.
Zipporah Mwanguli moves to the City Culture, Arts and Tourism from Citizen Engagement and Customer Service, While Michael Waikenda moves from Mobility Sector to the Mobility and AG ICT Infrastructure.
Clement Rapudo will head Smart Nairobi Sector, moved from City’s Culture, Arts and Tourism sector.
The county chief officers manage day-to-day operations of a department, enhancing department performance, deploying public officers within their department, ensuring efficient service delivery, implementing county policies and are accountable to the sector County Executive Committee Member (CECM).
Godfrey Akumali remains the Acting County Secretary.
