The Impeachment of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was finally tabled today on October 1, 2024. It was tabled by Kibwezi member of Parliament Mwengi Mutuse of Maendeleo Chap Chap Party.
In his submission, he claimed that Gachagua violated the constitution he swore to protect by doing the following;
1. Acquiring unexplained Wealth totaling to about 5.2 Billon shillings.
2. Threatening Other leaders and disrespecting the President of the Republic of Kenya
3. Diverting Funds at his office to personal account and being tribalistic among others.
