The Impeachment of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and appointment of his replacement is currently the talk of town in Kenya. Who is suited to become second in command has left different political factions holding meetings.
Those in Western Kenya are proposing Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi as the best bet. In Mount Kenya, Ann Waiguru and Kindiki are fronted as the best replacement banking on regional vote.
Through his X account. Narok Senator Ladema Ole Kina has advised President William Ruto on who should be appointed as second in command. According to him, Kindiki should not occupy that position since it will be a tribal card. He has advised the head of State to appoint someone outside Mount Kenya region for reginal balance.

There are great men from the mountain and other parts of Kenya who can independently (in the interest of the nation) hold that office. Stop this tribal nonsense.” posted Olekina.
