President William Ruto has finally opened up on the opposition calls for his removal from office. For months now, Kenyan youths have stormed the streets with a clear message ‘ Ruto Must Go.”
The slogan has been witnessed in several meetings including clubs and public gatherings. Ruto and his administration is being accused of corruption, wastage of public resources and abuse of office.
Well, while addressing the public today on July 9, 2025. President William Ruto has sounded a warning to the opposition team for allegedly planning anarchy and coup to remove him from power.
He has claimed that he is going to deal with them firmly going forward and there is not going to be tolerance to looting and violence in the republic of Kenya.

He asked the opposition team to wait for the right time to come 2027 and fight him on the ballot and not in the streets.
” I want to warn those planning anarchy in this country and maybe remove me from power to stop that. They should wait for the right time and use the right channels which are through the ballot. Any other thing will not be accepted here in the country under my watch.” Said President William Ruto.
The President also continued by making a promise to Kenyans on protecting their businesses. He claimed that his administration is going to do everything In making sure properties are safe.
