The President of the republic of Kenya his Excellency William Ruto is currently in the republic of Qatar.
Him together with Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi are attending a global meeting.
After the meeting, the head of state met with Kenyans staying in Qatar and his remarks while addressing them landed him in trouble back home.
According to the President, some Kenyans are just average in thinking. He has asked Kenyans to stop complaining and focus on how the country can be removed from the third world batch to the first class country like Japan and Singapore.

According to the President, he spoke to the Singapore leader and he advised him on how to move forward with the housing projects. According to him, in Singapore, they forced their people to the affordable housing projects but in Kenya, he is only asking them to join voluntarily from the slums.
Well, Ruto’s remarks have elicited mixed reactions online with people back home calling him out for being reckless with his remarks. They maintained that, they are only fighting to have a better democracy and accountability.
