President William Ruto has finally opened up on the reasons why his former second in command Rigathi Gachagua was removed from office.
While speaking to journalists at Sagana state house, the President made it clear how he tried to save Gachagua three times but failed.
He continued to highlight how he called meetings that could have solved the issues but he was ignored.

- Fights with Members of Parliament.
According to the president. Gachagua picked war with legislators threatening to remove them from office if they did not follow his ways.
2. Failing to defend the government position.
According to President William Ruto. Gachagua failed to defend government positions in various meetings. He continued by claiming that the second in command did not even appear in any meeting or Media houses defending the policy of the Kenya kwanza administration.
3. Blackmail.
According to the President, Gachagua demanded 10 billion shillings from him hence leading to the impeachment. He alleged that the money was meant for quelling the tension within the Mount Kenya region.
