The republic of Kenya has been thrown into mourning. Just a few weeks ago, the country lost a vibrant leader from Kasipul, Homabay County. Honorable Were was assassinated in Nairobi leaving Kenyans talking.
Well, another former member of Parliament has reportedly collapsed and died while being rushed to hospital. The messages of condolences are streaming to the family and friends from leaders across the nation.

Honorable Catherine Nyamato has rested. According to reports, she was well and with people from her region conducting activities when she collapsed. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, she rested. She was nominated to the national assembly by the KANU party, before unsuccessfully running for a Woman representative position in the last general election.
“This loss is so deep. So devastating. Hon. Catherine Nyamato took me in as her own daughter when I was in university and mentored me. I have lost my second mother whom I loved so dearly and who meant so much for our family. Deep condolences to my sisters and brothers.” Posted Akokombe.
