Siaya County is mourning. The great county which is being led by Senior Counsel James Orengo is mourning. According to the information shared by the governor on his official X handle, the county has lost its People who were headed for a special meeting in Naivasha. According to Orengo, the county senior driver has perished in a road accident while on his way to Naivasha with the team of officials from the county who are admitted.
“It is a deeply sorrowful evening for Siaya County as we mourn the loss of one of our own, Senior Driver George Were who was involved in a tragic road accident at Delamere Center while on official duty en route to Naivasha. We extend our heartfelt condolences to George’s family and pray that they find strength and comfort during this painful time. We also wish a swift and full recovery to Chief Officer for Education, Mr. Richard Ogeda, Easter Okello of LREB and all other staff members who were injured in the accident.
