Reaction As Suspect In Kasipul MP Murder Mentions Governor Wanga After Being Summoned

The murder of Kasipul member of Parliament Honorable Charles Were Ong’ondo shocked the country. It was reported that the legislator was Jovial during the day and even attended a parliamentary seating before being killed at the City mortuary roundabout.

According to the government pathologist, Ong’ondo died of excessive blood loss which was attributed to numerous bullets that were pumped in his body. Vital body organs such as the heart were damaged by one of the bullets leaving him with almost zero chances of getting out alive.

What shocked Kenyans even more was that, despite his bodyguards being armed, they did not fire a single shot at the assassins.

Police officers picked them from their various residences for questioning after it emerged that they gave conflicting encounters of events.

Well, the DCI team has summoned another suspect who has mentioned Homa Bay County governor Gladys Wanga as a person who is calling police officers to arrest him.

Speaking to the media while flanked by his lawyer Dunstan Omari, Philip Aroko alleged that his arrest is purely political and that he has nothing to do with the death of Kasipul member of Parliament Honorable Charles Were Ong’ondo. He has continued by claiming that Homabay County style of politics has become volatile for those seeking elective positions.

“The situation that we are in is very unfortunate. I want to leave the police to do their job, they summoned me to come and I am here. I want to tell the people of Homa Bay County that the politics in that county has been turned to madness; it is not politics, it is thuggery. I saw the Governor pushing so much for me to be called here, she is making calls to the police for me to be called here #JKLive Jeff Koinange” said Aroko.
