Orange democratic Party leader Raila Odinga has come out gun blazing after a publication by the standards news paper. Through the Orange democratic Party, Raila has made his feelings clear by decrying the way him and his family were addressed in the publication.
The publication with the heading ” It is our time to eat” which was done by the standard newspaper on May 4, 2025.

In a letter seen by us, Odinga has claimed that the heading is targeting to spoil his name and that of his family by suggesting that his close family members are being employed in Ruto’s administration after a broad based government arrangement.
He has also claimed that the newspaper is out to demean his good name and sacrifices he made to the nation irrespective of the consequences he faced.
The ODM party has asked its members not to worry about the newspaper headlines but rather remain calm and focus on the comprehensive statement that will be released tomorrow.
