Makueni County is mourning the untimely death of its Trade and Industrialization County Executive Committee Member (CEC), Dr. Sonia Nzilani, whose passing on Sunday sent shockwaves across the region.
Days after her sudden demise, the pathologist who conducted the postmortem examination, Dr. Ancent Kituku, has now confirmed the medical cause behind her tragic death.
According to Dr. Kituku, Dr. Nzilani succumbed to cardiac tamponade, a life-threatening condition caused by the accumulation of blood in the sac surrounding the heart.
