
Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was a member of Parliament representing people of Mathira constituency from 2017-2022, before he was picked by President William Ruto to be his running mate and eventually sworn in as the second Deputy President of the republic of Kenya.
Well, prior to the 2017 general election, he was serving as the personal assistant to President Uhuru Kenyatta. A position he held for very Many years. Well, details have emerged of how he allegedly assisted to win the general election in 2017.
According to a former Nyeri Town member of Parliament Honorable Ngunjiri Wambugu. Gachagua was helped to win the Mathira Constituency seat in the 2017 general election. He was allegedly assisted by someone who managed to steal over three thousand votes helping him rig the election successfully.

This revelation has left many Kenyans talking online. Some have asked Wambugu to Present evidence to the DCI so that it can be investigated and the truth made public to Kenyans.

Wambugu and Gachagua fell out a few months after Gachagua was impeached. Since then, he has been attacking him online on a daily basis calling him tribal and that he should not be allowed to lead Kenyans in any capacity.
