Speaking in Taita Taveta county today, Ruto asked those planning to challenge him in 2027 to stop the campaigns now and focus on service delivery. He told them, to organize themselves and when the right time comes, he will be ready for them on the ground.
I’m asking those planning to challenge me In 2027. To focus on service delivery to Kenyans at the moment. We must deliver what we started in this country. There are so many projects that we must fulfil as a country and uplift Kenyans. We will deal with election matters later. ” Said President William Ruto.
Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka are some of the few individuals who have shown interest in leading the country. They are expected to form a coalition ahead of the 2027 general election.
