Former Law Society President Nelson Havi has reacted to the incident where the President was attacked In Migori county. The combative lawyer has added his voice to the ongoing debate with a controversial statement that has elicited mixed reactions online.
Kenyans have camped at his x account with different suggestions on what should be done to Protect the President going forward.
According to Nelson Havi, people attending Presidential meetings should start doing so without shoes. His sarcastic statement has triggered mixed reactions with a section of Kenyans demanding respect to the Presidency even if they don’t respect the person holding that office.

This is not the first time Migori county residents have had Issues with the President. Even during Uhuru time, the was caught in a war with residents who pelted stones at him together with then governor Obado.
” We should respect the President at all costs. There’s no way a president can be publicly humiliated like that. He should be seen as a symbol of national Unity.” Said Faith.
