Moses Kuria, senior Presidential economic advisor has resurfaced with new allegations for the number of years Kikuyus will be in opposition after dumping Ruto.
This is coming just days after the embattled former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was heroically welcomed in Murang’a county. Before later being attacked at Limuru, Kiambu County at a Funeral service.
Gachagua has been seen as the Chief opposition to the President William Ruto administration. He has been able to sway some people in Mount Kenya to his bracket and this move has rattled key government officials.

Taking to his official X account, Moses Kuria has claimed that, Kikuyus is going to be in opposition for seven and half years. He has alleged that they will offer a vibrant opposition team that will direct the region in the right direction. Something they have missed for almost twenty years.
“I have followed an online exchange between Sen John Methu of Nyandarua and Mathira MP Eric Wamumbi about stalled roads in Nyandarua. I am excited about having Kiluyus as the Leaders of Opposition. We will have an opposition that is more issue based centred around the economy and politics of development. This is what Kenya has missed for the last 22 years. The next 7 and a half years will be exciting and can only be good for our fledgling democratic discourse.” Posted Moses Kuria.
