Siaya County is becoming a political hotbed in the entire Nyanza region. The political temperatures are rising daily with those targeting James Orengo coming up with new tactical means to counter his political influence.
Orengo’s mistake is opposing broad based administration. Since the beginning of the new government formation between Raila and Ruto, Orengo has been standing strong with Kenyans demanding for accountability. His message has always been clear, respect of the rule of law and the independent institutions.

Well, it seems like his stand on a broad based government has called for war amongst themselves ( the ODM party officials). Speaking in Ugenya, Siaya County. Energy Cabinet Secretary Opiyo Wandai fired salvos.
According to Wandayi, Siaya County is one of the Counties lagging behind in service delivery. He has claimed that, as a cabinet secretary for Entergy, he has toured various counties and when he compared them to Siaya, it is very shameful.
He has asked Orengo to focus on serving his people instead of throwing tantrums and attacking the President of the republic of Kenya and Raila odinga.
