According to close sources, Malalah has responded to public demand by introducing a new category—Rugby Sevens—for the first time since the tournament was launched in 2016. Youths had reportedly urged him to broaden the competition to accommodate rugby players, and his decision to honor the request has earned him widespread praise.
The inclusion of rugby is expected to attract fresh talent and diversify the athletic atmosphere of the event.
Over the years, Malalah has remained consistent in supporting and nurturing young sporting talent. The Cleo Malalah Super Cup has become a platform where thousands of youths showcase their skills while also fostering unity and social cohesion.
The 2025 edition carries the slogan “#TusaKateBoli – Chini ya Mataa,” emphasizing the thrill of playing under floodlights, a feature that has increasingly drawn fans to the matches.
As the kick-off date approaches, excitement continues to build, with many anticipating a record-breaking turnout for what promises to be the most electrifying edition of the Malalah Super Cup yet.
