Kimani Ichung’wah Speaks On Abductions, Sends This Message To DCI

National Assembly Majority leader Honorable Kimani Ichung’wah has spoken on the current abductions. Speaking in Bungoma County at the home of national Assembly speaker Moses Wetangula.

Ichung’wah made it clear his feelings on what is happening in the country. This is coming just hours after former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua fired Salvos at Ruto over the same.

Well, Ichung’wah has asked the DCI department to be clear and act within the law. He has asked them to make the names of those arrested public and their offences so that the family can be relieved.

He went on to call on the same DCI department asking them to deal with Kenyans acting outside the law by cyber bullying leaders and other people online. Citing cyber bullying law that was passed in 2018, he asked Police to arrest those violating that law and charge them in the Court of law.

” I want to ask DCI to be making public the names of those Arrested and their offences. This will help in managing the anxiety of the families involved. Those who are violating cyber bullying law should be arrested and charged in accordance with the law of the land.” Said Ichung’wah.

He also asked families with complaints of any abductions to report the matter to the police officers and allow investigation to be conducted. Youths were also asked to be keen on what they post and how they post it.
