Ugandan Opposition leader Bobi Wine has been shot. According to his X account admin, he was shot by police officers on the leg while campaigning in Bulido. He was rushed to hospital where doctors are attending to him.
“Our President @HEBobiwine has been shot in the leg by police in Bulindo! He’s been rushed to hospital for urgent medical attention. We’ll keep the country updated on his situation.” Posted Wine Admin.

This is not the first time Bobi Wine has encountered brutal attacks from police officers. Few years ago, he was arrested, tortured forcing him to seek treatment abroad. He was treated for few weeks before being discharged.
