The United States of America is where rule of law is followed to the final step. Despite the country being a free country, everyone is required to follow the law strictly.
Well, according to the report seen by this writer, one of Kenya former presidential candidate failed to obey the law. He was sentenced to seven years in prison. His silence since 2022 general election has left Kenyans asking so many questions.
According to Nation Africa publication. Honerable Mwalimu Mohamed Dida is serving seven years in prison for a mistake he committed. It is alleged that he was sentenced in November 2022 just few months after Kenyan general election.
His crime was stalking and intimidation. He was found guilty of stalking and intimidating a woman in a State of Illinois. He is currently held at Big muddy correctional center in Illinois.
Dida As A Presidential Candidate.
Mwalimu Mohamed Dida vied both in 2013 and 2017 general election. He viewd alongside Orange democratic Party leader, Honerable Raila Odinga of ODM party and former President Uhuru Kenyatta of Jubilee Party.
Unfortunately, he did not manage to win the election and former President Uhuru Kenyatta was declared winner in both elections. Odinga came in a second in those two races.
