Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is not leaving anything to chance. He is determined to see that his candidates and those within the United opposition wins the by-elections across the country.
For awhile now, he has been calling on the independent electoral commission to act and twart any attempt of rigging elections.
Well, according to the letter sent to the independent electoral commission chair, Gachagua has identified the person from IEBC who is planning to rig the election.

The independent electoral commission chair ,Mr. Erastus Edung has been asked to tame his vice chair Fahima Araphat Abdalah. According to Gachagua, Fahima has been holding meetings in Magarini constituency together with the area governor.
In one of the meetings held at Boutique Hotel in Malindi, Fahima allegedly requested for the phone numbers of all the presiding officers in the by-election. This is contrary to the law where she is expected to keep off the area since she is from there.
Gachagua in his letter continued by claiming that at the same hotel, bribes were discussed and the amount was agreed upon by the officials and the independent electoral commission Vice chair.
