The United opposition team is composed of leaders who are determined to send President William Ruto and his administration home. Comprising; Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka, former interior Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiang’i, and Martha Karua.
Their main challenge was settling on the right person to fly the coalition flag in the 2027 general election. Well, according to one of the leaders in the opposition, it seems like they have already settled on who will be running as the Presidential Candidate.

According to a speech by Kiambu County Senator Honorable Thwanga, the ticket of Gachagua and Kalonzo will be the best to send President William Ruto home immediately. He claimed that once the Ukambani Region manages to get over 2 million votes. Gachagua will add more and all will be well to go.
His speech has elicited mixed reactions with those in opposition and allied to Matiang’i asking questions on where the arrangement leaves them.
