Homabay County governor Gladys Wanga has finally responded after one of the suspects in the murder of Kasipul member of Parliament Honorable Charles, mentioned her.
Yesterday, the director of criminal investigation in a coordinated raid arrested several people believed to have taken part in the execution of member of Parliament Charles Were Ong’ondo. Well, one suspect mentioned Wanga leaving Kenyans talking.
Well, Gladys Wanga has finally responded to Philip Aroko who claimed that she was the one calling police officers directing them who to arrest.
While at Kabude airport receiving the remains of the late legislator Charles Were, she claimed that she is the governor of Homabay County and not an investigative agency. She maintained that her focus is on making sure that Ong’ondo gets a dignified send-off tomorrow may 9,2025.
I want to make it clear here. I’m not an investigative agency in this country. I saw some people mentioning my name yesterday. My work is the governor of Homabay. And I’m focused on making sure that our brother gets a dignified send-off. Anything else, let’s leave it to the investigation agencies to do their work.” Said Wanga.
