Before the impeachment motion against former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. Former Nyeri Town member of Parliament Honorable Ngunjiri Wambugu was working with Gachagua under the office of Deputy President. He was employed after losing his Nyeri Town.
Well, after the impeachment, Ngunjiri was seen briefly at Gachagua home, Wamunyoro, before turning against him.
He later started working with people closer to President William Ruto and Kenya Kwanza administration.

He intensified his attacks on Gachagua terming him tribal and a person who should not be allowed near power. Well, the DCP party has finally responded to the exact reason Wambugu was shown the door.
According to Democracy For The Citizens Party Strategist Mbae. Ngunjiri Wambugu was thrown out because he was working for the National intelligence service. He was too close to Gachagua and started leaking information leaving those closer to the opposition leader more concerned.
We stopped Wambugu because he was working with the national intelligence service. He was behaving like one, walking like one and moving around dishing information everywhere.” Said Mbae.
