The issue of Adani taking over Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and power grid was a thorne in Kenyans flesh until Ruto cancelled the deals.
Youths protested demanding the cancellation of all deals asking President William Ruto and his men to make the agreement public and available to all Kenyans.
Well, former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has come out with new hard hitting claims about the whole deal.
According to Gachagua while at NTV Kenya interview. The deal between the Kenyan government and the Adani group was never discussed in the cabinet meetings.

The whole plan was hatched somewhere else by individuals close to the President and his was asked to support it even without having details of it. When he refused to be a yes man, that’s where the problem started and was accused of unfeminine the President and his agenda.
Gachagua claimed that it was not right for government officials to take up deals and force them to the general public without consultation. That is what affected Adani deals.
He continues to lament how one government official called him demanding answers why he failed to defend the government policies in a meeting he attended. To him, he did not have clear details on what was happening hence it was difficult for him to make a decision on the Adani deal.
