According to the video shared online, the opposition leader held a rally in Muranga County before heading to his home area, Karatina, Nyeri County.
Flanked by his Deputy Party leader Honorable Cleophas Malalah. Gachagua asked his people to support him in the 2027 general election so that he could send the Kenya Kwanza administration home.
Today, President William Ruto hosted thousands of teachers at the State House. During that time, he used the opportunity to tactically campaign for his reelection.

According to analysts who followed the meeting closely. The President asked teachers to be patient with him.
He promised that his government is going to double the promotion budget from One billion to two billion shillings. This move is expected to see over 50,000 teachers promoted yearly.
He also promised to employ more teachers in January 2026. This will boost the students to teachers ratio to about 1:40 people.
Teachers were also given a good deal, they will have to get 20% of all the houses being built by the government across the country. This left Kenyans, teachers celebrating.
With this move, many have seen it as a counterattack on Gachagua who has been calling out the government for failing to protect Kenyans.
