Farouk Kibet has pitched a tent in Malava Constituency ahead of the highly contested by-election. For the past two months, Kibet seems to have suspended all the national engagements to focus totally on Malava Constituency by-election.
On a daily basis, he is seen launching projects in Malava and attending events, programs aimed at helping the people of Malava. Well, despite all this effort, it seems like things are turning out to be bad for the United Democratic party.
According to the polls, Seth Panyako is leading with about 47 percent and is being trailed by Honorable Ndakwa who has about 42 percent of the votes. This has elicited mixed reactions online with Kenyans demanding to know what is really happening with the Kenya Kwanza administration.

For weeks, high profile leaders both from the Western region and outside have camped in the Malava Constituency before drumming up support for Ndakwa. Bungoma County governor His Excellency Lusaka and Wetangula visited Malava asking residents to vote for Ndakwa.
Well, speaking just after the Polls. Honorable Farouk Kibet called on residents of Malava to support Ndakwa and avoid the United opposition candidate. According to him, the opposition candidate will not bring development to the people of Malava and their presence is just politics.
