Nairobi senator Edwin Sifuna has set the record straight on the seat he will be going for come august 2027. Speaking at an interview with Trevor Ombija on Citizen Tv and Kisumu senator Tom Ojienda, the vibrant politician did not mince his words at all.
This came after he was accused of fighting a broad based government for his own personal gains. He was accused of disobeying his party leader Raila Odinga who authorized the formation of a broad based administration with William Ruto.

According to Sifuna, he is not interested in going for governorship or being appointed Cabinet Secretary In any administrator. His plan is to retain his seat as a Nairobi senator in 2027. He has maintained that he is comfortable serving people of Nairobi and he will be there to defend and serve them diligently going forward.
” Trevor, I want to say this here without any fear or favour, I will be retaining my seat come 2027. I will go back to my people of Nairobi and ask them to vote for me again. I will not seek any mandate as appointed C’s. ” Said Sifuna.
