For days now, many Kenyans have been reacting angrily on the ADANI-JKIA deal. Many Kenyans have been condemning the whole move and President William Ruto’s government for making it happen. Things have been ugly in the country and it appears the situation will only be getting worse if nothing is done quickly. That is because today, Transport CS Davis Chirchir did find himself in trouble with Ruto’s man Danson Mungatana over the JKIA issue.
That is because Danson Mungatana came out breathing fire as he called on Davis Chirchir to come out and clear the air on the JKIA saga. The popular senator told Chirchir to face the press and tell Kenyans how things are. He asked the Transport CS to admit it if there is a problem and seek forgiveness from Kenyans but if the deal is good, Mungatana urged Chirchir to explain to the people how good it is for the country.
According to the vocal senator, if Davis Chirchir doesn’t act now and talk to Kenyans, he will be summoned soon either by the Senate or the National Assembly. On his side, Mungatana doesn’t think it is good for the Transport chief to wait until that time in order to make a move. For that reason, he feels that Chirchir has tike now to act and prevent this issue from growing big.
How Davis Chirchir will react to such news is not yet known for now but definitely, it will be known by time. All in all, it is better if he heeds Mungatana’s advice before it is too late.
