The former United Democratic Party Secretary general Honorable Cleophas Wakhungu Malalah has opened up about his life at the UDA Party and the hits and misses there.
Malalah was unceremoniously removed from the Party as secretary general and replaced by Hassan Omar in a battle that was initiated for his support for Rigathi Gachagua.
Well, speaking at TV47. Malalah opened up on mistakes that President William Ruto and his Party are doing that will cost them heavily in the 2027 general election.
According to Malalah, the ruling Party has lost touch with the common citizens. The boda Boda people and Mama mboga they promised to help are no longer getting that help. They are only focused on removal of leaders that assisted in building the party in 2022.
Malalah continued by warning the President and his team that the 2027 general election is going to be tough since Kenyans are suffering and are not getting help. He also claimed that although he was part of the team that formulated some good policies, they have been abandoned for a different course that is totally out of the plan and agenda of the Party.
“2027 is going to be a very difficult year for the united democratic Party. Kenyans are watching our bottom up manifesto. What we promised is not what is being delivered. We must be careful on that” warned Malalah.
