Speaking exclusively to Steshanews, Malalah claimed that the Malava by election is not an issue within the opposition. It is just a friendly fire that residents will be given an opportunity to select the best candidate.
According to Malalah, there is no need for the DAP Kenya Party to issue threats within the opposition since no clear zoning map was agreed upon. He maintained that the Malava By-election will be won by Edgar Busiega who is a DCP party candidate. He therefore asked the opponents to prepare for the DCP member of Parliament in Malava.
There is no bad blood in the opposition. What we are witnessing is just a friendly fire between DCP and DAP Kenya Party. We are brothers, we are only disagreeing on the candidates. Our main agenda is to send Ruto home. In the other seats, we will have to face each other.” Said Former Kakamega County Senator Cleophas Malalah.
