Mount Kenya region kingpin war might not end anytime soon. The defacto spokesperson of the region is not yet clear as per the recent developments.
Everyone from central region seems to be speaking for the whole community. Despite Gachagwa being the second in command, his position as kingpin has not been cemented.
Well, while speaking in Murang’a county. Kirinyaga governor Ann Waiguru made it clear her feelings on unity call. She maintained that the region is united under President William Ruto and nobody should think otherwise.
Waiguru continued by asking residents not to be forced out of government by leaders who are claiming to unite them.
” We are united as a region. Those Calling for unity are not supposed to do that. We are behind William Ruto. Our leader who is focused and determined to change the country” said Ann Waiguru.
She asked Gachagwa to stick by the president and help him deliver his manifesto to the people of Kenya.
