Speaking at the Orange democratic Party anniversary in Mombasa County. Winnie called out a section of the ODM party members who are pretending to be with the Party but are planning to sell the party in secret.
According to her, Kenyans who valued Raila Odinga will not allow few people to negotiate for the party for their own personal interests and that going forward, things must change.
Those who want to continue with the struggle must be vigilant not to allow a few people to take advantage of what Raila Odinga fought for.
I have heard that some people are with us during the Day and they join our opponents during the night to discuss how to sell the party. This is not a briefcase party and it was not formed in boardrooms. We were born on streets fighting for freedom and that should continue going forward. We will not allow anything less to happen going forward. ” Said Winnie Odinga.
