Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was impeached a year ago by both houses In a dramatic manner. Despite falling sick, legislators maintained that for the stability of the country, he had to go.
He was accused of undermining his boss, President William Ruto and being tribalistic. He was also accused of disinheriting his brother’s family, Nderitu Ngachagwa’s family.
Well, it seems like some of those who wanted him gone then are not celebrating anymore. According to Maara member of Parliament Honorable karieke Mbiuki, Impeachment of Gachagua was supposed to be something smooth. They were told, he will fade away in just two weeks.

However, he has turned out to be a political monster in Mount Kenya region with massive support from Kenyans Within the region and outside Mount Kenya. With this, he is regretting impeaching him since many people on the ground are now resonating with him and if the governor fails to play their cards well, things are going to be difficult for them going forward.
