On August 18, 2025. President of the republic of Kenya his Excellency William Ruto lectured members of the national assembly and Senate for allegedly taking bribes. The President went on to claim that, he has raw intelligence of members receiving close to ten million shillings in order to vote on a bill.
Well, addressing his colleagues in Parliament today, Kikuyu member of Parliament Honorable Kimani Ichung’wah has set the record straight on him getting 150 million shillings bribes.

Speaking in Parliament during the afternoon session, Ichung’wah claimed that, the revelation made by President William Ruto made him one of the few people to be attacked online. Some alleged that, he might be the individual mentioned by the president for receiving over one hundred and fifty million shillings as bribe.
Ichung’wah clarified that, he took a loan from the Parliament sacco, the money he used to fund the Shares purchase he made on the house fund scheme.
“I want to tell Honorable members here that, I am one of the people who have suffered online since the statement by the President. I’m being targeted for purchasing shares, something that I used a loan from parliamentary Sacco to settle. Those involved in the Bribes should be mentioned to end this debate.” Said Ichung’wah.
