Kenya Kwanza member of Parliament was today forced to run with the entire entourage that had visited a village to distribute maize. According to the video widely shared online, angry residents chanted one term slogan while charging towards the entourage. The team was forced to ignite their vehicles and leave hurriedly.
In the video, Tranzoia County residents Heckled their woman representative Lilian Siyoi at Kapomboi. Lilian with her entourage had arrived with a Lorry to distribute maize, something that angered residents who demanded accountability and good governance.
” We don’t want those things, get out of here. How can you give us maize and you’re stealing our money. You will not lead us for the second term, you’re going to be a one term leader. Get out of here with your people immediately.” Said one resident.
Tranzoia county is turning out to be a political volatile centre. Many people are now focusing on the county with Natembeya not ready to give up.
