Nakuru Country governor Her Excellency Susan Kihika is on a mission, a mission to solidify her base Ahead of the 2027 general election. Since the formation of the new constitution, Nakuru County has not elected any governor back to office.
This trend has left Kihika worried and hopes that the tides will change favoring her in the upcoming general election. There is one problem that she is facing, which is the reason she has decided to plead with residents.

According to the political analysts, the former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is going to play a very major role in Nakuru County politics.
This is because, the county is mainly dominated by Central region residents who always vote in one basket. If Gachagua manages to put them together, then, Kihika will have to convince them hard for a second term.
Speaking in Kuresoi while launching projects, Kihika claimed that in her first term as a governor, she was finalizing projects left behind by Lee Kinyanjui and the first governor. Therefore, residents should at least give her a second term for her development.
In the crowd, a section of them are heard shouting one term. This is a signal that she will have a rough time pulling the political Mastercard In the 2027 general election.
