Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and his United opposition team stormed Embu County. Their mission was clear, to compaign for their candidate in Mbeere North and make roadside rallies within Embu County.
All was well when they started their tour. However, a section of Youths started gathering with an intention of blocking the opposition motorcade.
According to a video shared online by the Embu newspaper. Governor Cecily Mbarire’s Director of communication Gilbert Mugendi was forced to run for his life after being found mobilizing people to disrupt Gachagua’s opposition rally in Mbeere North.

Earlier on, a screenshot of messages allegedly coming from a group associated with Embu leadership planned a confrontation with the opposition team. They planned in the group how to counter Gachagua and shout him down during the meeting. Well, it seems like Gachagua was ready for them
