Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has left Kenyans talking online after refusing to respond to one concern.
In an interview conducted by citizen TV presenter, Yvonne Matole Okwara, Gachagua diverted the question to the interviewer despite being confident and claiming to have full information. This move has left Kenyans demanding more answers.
All was well until presenter Yvonne Matole Okwara who was in charge of the interview asked Gachagua to substantiate his claims that President William Ruto, the President of the republic of Kenya met with Alshabaab in Madera.

Gachagua refused to substantiate the claims and directed Okwara to wait and hear from the United States of America Senate group that is investigating the allegations. He continued by asking Okwara to ask President William Ruto to publicly respond on his remarks if it was not true.
“Senator James Risch tabled a bill in the Senate asking that the status of Kenya as a non-NATO ally be reviewed in view of the following allegations: relations with China and Iran, the government of Kenya and key officials of Kenya with non-state armed groups and violent extremist organisations, including RSF and Al Shabaab. I am not the one who came up with these allegations. Ruto replied and said the Americans have a problem with him because he has opened bilateral trade with China, which is good for the country and that is why Americans want to review their relationship with Kenya.” Said Gachagua.
