Speaking to a KTN journalist in a video attached below, Raila Odinga was asked if he will inspire his children to follow his footsteps and inherit his powerful political manpower.
The late leader set the record straight by claiming that he had no such powers over his children. He did not have any intention of forcing any of them to take up leadership positions.
He continued by claiming most of them are into businesses and are more focused staying away from political limelight.
I can’t force my children to do what they don’t want. I will only support them if they show interest. For now, they are just focused on doing their things.” Said Raila Odinga.
