While speaking in Baba Dogo, Nairobi County today, President William Ruto gave an order to Police officers and a local investor to leave Baba Dogo playground immediately. The investor had arrived with construction materials ready to put up a fence around the pitch that has led to the Protests in the area.
Residents are claiming the parcel of land. They told the president that, they have been using the land as a playground for their children for a very long time but now some people were planning to grab it rendering them hopeless and with no place for them to play.
