The campaigns in Uganda are intensifying. The contest is between former popstar Bobi Wine and President Yoweri Kaguta Miseveni. Miseveni is looking forward to extending his reign in Uganda for close to forty years.
The polls which are expected to happen in January, 2026 have elicited mixed reactions with youths backing Wine. In his previous speech, President Miseveni asked Bobi Wine to wait a little longer and Once he was done. He will even support him in the subsequent elections.
