Police officers are having a tough time in Mount Kenya region. Yesterday, on December 4, 2024, Police officers were chased by irate Nyeri residents for trying to disperse supporters allied to Gachagua allies.
Well, they have been sent away today on December 5, 2024 again. According to the video widely shared online. Kenyans have been left asking questions on whather police should remain neutral In political activities.

From the video, Boda Boda riders in Embu county escorted police officers from their event. They told them to leave their function unless their service is required. Seemingly defeated Police officers are seen in the video boarding their car before speeding off back to the station.
Boda chair insisted that the event was peaceful and there was no need for police officers to appear with rungus to intimidate them.
” we called for a peaceful meeting with our members. It is unfortunate to see more police here and we did not call them. That’s why we asked them to leave the area. We will call if we need them. ” Said Boda Boda chair.
