Things are going south daily for the President of the Supreme Court Marth Koome. The Chief Justice has been facing criticism across the country ever since she assumed office. She took over from the retired incumbent Chief Justice David Maraga who played a crucial role in ensuring that Kenyans have faith in judiciary.
According to a post on X by Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi, he called on the Chief Justice to resign as he reacted on what former Law Society of Kenya President Nelson Havi exposed. Nelson Havi said that he met the former Nairobi County Governor Mike Sonko who revealed that one point he was asked by a judge to give 150M as bribe for his case.
While responding, Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi says this is enough evidence to send CJ Martha Koome home. He went ahead and said that she is soundly sleeping on the job and is as well clueless.
