Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua left Kenyans talking after his revelation on attempted assassination.
Speaking during the interview with Yvonne Matole Okwara of Citizen Television, the vibrant opposition Chief did not leave anything behind on slamming President William Ruto and his entire Kenya Kwanza administration.
Gachagua claimed that, some Police officers dressed in civilian attires were stationed at Pipeline estate during his return from the United States of America. He continued by alleging that, it was for this reason that he was forced to cancel his Jakaranda grounds rally.

” Let me tell you something Yvonne. When I was coming from the United States of America during my arrival at the airport. I received Intel, there were some Police officers stationed at Pipeline estate ready to shoot at me and blame goons for my death. It was going to be messy during that time. You saw the violence that happened on Mombasa road, journalists were targeted, some by goons organized by this Administration. I had to make a decision of not attending the rally at Jakaranda grounds.” Said Gachagua’s during the interview.
The former Deputy President continued by asking Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen not to incite Kenyans by making stupid decisions.
One of the decisions is to target the opposition team during their rallies. According to Gachagua, the opposition leaders are being targeted by violent goons and police officers dressed in civilian clothes. He has called on Kenyans to be vigilant and not to allow the country to be misled by few people who are only benefiting themselves.
