National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula has elicited mixed reactions after trying to explain why the Western region should stand behind President William Ruto in the 2027 general election.
Wetangula, who is a beneficiary of Kenya Kwanza administration and his political brother Musalia Mudavadi have been moving around the Western region pleading with residents to support the UDA administration.
When asked about the 30% development projects they negotiated before elections, they respond with claims, they will come in the second term.

According to Moses Wetangula, the Western region will have a great advantage in the 2032 general election if they support President William Ruto in the 2027 general election.
He claimed that by supporting the President re-election, they stand a good chance in Ruto handing the mantle to someone from the Western region when he leaves power.
Well, his remarks have angered a section of Kenyans who are demanding accountability without political inclinations. They are asking him to tell the President to work for the people of the Western region and deliver all the Promises made, otherwise, things are going to be difficult for the head of state in the next general election.
