The Social Health Authority (SHA) has officially released the shortlist of candidates who applied for various advertised positions, marking a key step in the institution’s ongoing recruitment process.
According to a notification issued by SHA leadership under Mercy Mwangangi, interviews are set to begin in December, with each candidate allocated a specific date, time, and venue.
In the announcement, the Authority emphasized that shortlisted applicants are required to attend their interviews at designated locations, which include the Social Health Authority Headquarters 9th Floor Boardroom and the SHA Parking Complex on the 1st Floor.
Candidates have been urged to carefully consult the published interview schedule to ensure they appear at the correct venue and time.

To facilitate a smooth and efficient process, the Authority has directed all applicants to report at least thirty minutes before their scheduled interview time.
This early reporting window will allow adequate time for verification of documents and pre-interview briefing. SHA warned that failure to produce required documents may result in automatic disqualification from the recruitment process.
Applicants are expected to present original copies of critical identification, academic, and compliance documents. These include a valid National Identity Card, academic and professional certificates and transcripts, and clearances from key regulatory bodies.
Among the mandatory clearances are those from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), a registered Credit Reference Bureau (CRB), the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) for Police Clearance, and the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), either through a self-declaration form or a stamped acknowledgement.
Candidates with foreign qualifications must also provide recognition letters from the Commission for University Education (CUE), while applicants belonging to professional bodies are required to submit letters of good standing or official recommendations.
Additional testimonials or supporting documents relevant to the role being sought are also encouraged.
SHA noted that these requirements reflect its commitment to transparency, credibility, and strict adherence to public service recruitment standards.
The Authority reassured applicants that the process will be conducted fairly and professionally, with the aim of selecting qualified individuals capable of strengthening service delivery within Kenya’s evolving social health framework.
The release of the shortlist marks a significant milestone in the Authority’s efforts to enhance its workforce as it transitions into full implementation of the new Social Health Insurance Fund (SHIF) system. Candidates are encouraged to remain vigilant for any further updates from the Authority as the interview phase gets underway.
