President William Ruto is keen on taking over his support base, especially now that he is not in good terms with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and Mount Kenya is not promising massive support.
Well, one of the people that Raila Odinga banked on in the 2022 general election is Kalonzo Musyoka. But any attempt to have Kalonzo join the new government formation was rejected. He insisted on remaining with the people who protested bad governance that led to the dissolution of the cabinet by President William Ruto.

Well, a new move has been seen as a tactical way of dealing with Kalonzo Musyoka after rejecting the Kenya Kwanza administration offer.
According to the video shared by Alfred Mutua who is a cabinet Secretary in Ruto’s administration. He held a consultative meeting with residents of the lower Eastern region. The message was all about politics, education and other things.
Political analysts have interpreted the meeting as a tactical move by President William Ruto to counter Kalonzo Musyoka in the Eastern region, a region that has been dominated by the wiper Party for many years.
